What are some mods to increase performance on my 2014 Ford Explorer sport ?

I posted this in the 16-18 section, but it applies here, too...
The single best bang-for-the-buck performance improvement you can make is a tune. Quite a few Explorer owners (including myself) are using Livernois with good results. There are other tuners out there, too - 5-star, Unleashed, Diablo... A tune will cost you less than a decent cat-back exhaust and give MUCH better performance improvements. A good tune will not only give you a significant boost of power and torque, but also improve driveability. Many have also noticed an improvement in gas mileage.
As for other after-market performance parts, there are lots of options...
- Downpipes
- Exhaust systems
- Intakes (there is come debate about whether or not they actually improve performance)
- 3-bar MAP sensor
- 160 deg thermostat
- Crank case breathers
- Throttle enhancers
- And more...
It's not too difficult to get the Sport putting out mid-400HP.
